Walter Parham Named Cacti New Head Coach

Copper Mountain College completed their search for their new head men's basketball coach by hiring Walter Parham. Parham has been with the Cacti program since it's inception, starting as an assistant and then being named interim head coach at the mid way point last season. He will now continue to lead the Cacti men as they look to make a playoff push for the second time in the three year program history. Parham brings a wealth of knowledge about basketball, but more importantly builds great relationship with his players. "Players love him and in return the play very hard for him." Says Ken Simonds, Jr., Athletic Director. "We are expecting great things from Walter and the program this year."
